Evaporation In Three-tier System

In a three-tier, tied-in system (with the pump on the bottom, of course), in what tank would the water level drop due to evaporation? I wondering if an automatic freshwater drip system would work somewhere in the set up.

I have a three tier system. In a normal setup the water level will drop in the lowest tank. Specifically in the return section if you have one. An automated topoff system would usually operate in the return section, but a drip system could add water anywhere "” it wouldn't matter.

Make sure the lowest tank has enough excess volume to accommodate the overflow from the top two when power is lost.
