Has anyone ever been to this place?

Melilli Cafe & Grill LLC
307 Main Street, Cromwell, CT 06416

Someone told me they have a large (180+) saltwater tank.

theres also a place in Fairfield CT that has a bunch of tanks all over and I am trying to find the name of it.

I've been there a few times. Most recently perhaps 4 months ago and they had a large freshwater tank with gold fish/koi if I remember correctly. Not worth the trip for the fish or the food. On the other hand down the street is Mama Rioux which is a fabulous place for breakfast. No fish but wonderful food!

Reefman, I wonder if it's the restaurant, Bravo on the Post road in Fairfield, right next to the movie theater down town. Unless there's another brand new restaurant, it's the only restaurant that has a saltwater fish tank. I've seen it everytime I drive by. I haven't been in there though, so they may have more than one. Interested to find out!!!

Butterfly (Chinese food) in West Hartford on Farmington Ave has a large tank...somewhat subpar, but cool to look at while eating great food.

What is subpar tyler.
The foood yes
The tank no, the tank at butterfly's is awesome, mostly softies but HUGE ones

ahah I will have to disagree, I think the food is great...the tank is cool but the anemone in the corner always makes me dislike the tank...it's been slowly dying for awhile.

Thanks "eaglesrx" I new there was a restaurant in Fairfield but was not sure where it was.

I am planning to go out to dinner there in the near future. So I will let CTARS guys how the seafood is (lol).

Just what we need a seafood thread right! :D (j/k)

one of the jewelry stores in the Buckland Mall has an in wall saltwater tank just some shrooms and fish and few other softies but not bad...

That's Michaels Jewelry. That tank has never really looked great. One of these days, I might ask who maintains it for them.

Pitstop, that's right, well not entirely on the name, but, there is a Japanese Hibachi restaurant on Kings Highway towards Bridgeport, still in Fairfield. It's called, Kobis. Their tank is very nice. Beautiful custom tank. Of course, it's a fish only tank, no nice corals, not even softies.

Reefman, Kobis has the bigger, nice tank (at least in terms of fish) than Bravo. Bravo's is probably a 75gallon or so. Kobis has gotta be a 200g+ custom archway tank.

Thanks Pitstop for the clarification.
