I just cannot get good PE out of my acros and montis. I have read through about every thread i can find and the only thing i can think of that might be contributing is my coral beauty angel. I can't seem to get him out to test the theory but besides ive ruled out red bugs and AEFW. I have an A. chesterfieldensis that has weak yet visible polyp extension but nothing like it should and that is it for any of my acros, none have PE including my millie. Everything is growing, encrusting and colors are ok, nothing i would consider great but ok. Nightime PE is just ok on a couple and non-existant on others, i should check again
Its on a 75g standard with a 55g sump about 2/3 full and a 20g fuge with cheato.

nitrates/nitrite/ammo/phos: undetectable with API kit, would like to get a hanna for po4
alk: 9 via salifert but i think it reads a point high
cal: 440 red sea
mag: 1480 red sea, but i don't know if i trust this number
I am using a RB photon32 run for a few hours at 80*blue 40*white and ramp up/down the rest of the time. 2 wp25 ran on multiple different modes every couple days with a couple small koralias in there blowing behind the rocks etc. Dosing with ESV ionic on doser controlled by RA
I was going to make an egg crate "cage" to drop over the few frags i have on the sand to see if that stops the angel getting at them, but i tried before and it was a pain because nassarius snails come up from the sand and knock em over and its hard to reset them. Any idea or more info needed? I can take pictures if needed
