Ever heard of a mini BTA?

David i stand corrected. ;)
Never would i have thought that would happen.

Wait its Photoshopped! :p :D J/K

A guy was selling them on here a long time ago for 5 dollars a piece but you had to buy 4. He did mention in just 6 months he went from 4 or 5 to about 80. They might not be a pest but I've heard they split and grow very fast. To me, it's a pest and honestly, a fish will most likely not host in it. Is it possible? Probably but don't expect it.

Yours does not look like a Tulip anemone. not sure what it is but i don't think its a tulip.

Yea, thats almost exactly what i have! Mine was slightly smaller at first and nearly pure white. Over a few months it turned pale cream, now very light green, also with speckles. Mine seems to be growing (slowly) and has nipple tips much of the time, just like in that pic.

The ones that my friend has, that we know for sure dont get bigger than 1.5" are like normal BTAs, small but nice deep green, no speckling.

I am trying to feed mine to get it to grow but it seems to be pretty slow growing. Its grown from 1.2cm to 4cm in like 6months (no feeding in the beginning, only fed recently ~monh or so) but it was bleached and now at least i know it has zooxanthellae.

Do you guys reckon i can have a swarm of these tiny BTAs on a rock and somehow persuade a juvi maroon to host?

HTH
