ah man, makin me jelouse, i had one on hold for me in the shop but he didnt make it, ive got dibs on the next one they get in, and im getting it in the bag before it goes in their tanks.

What is everyone's experience with the surviving long term? My fellow local reefer friend has one that makes me want to drool. Eats everything...Everything I have read is that they are a problematic fish. So I am not sure if I want to get one for that very reason....

Great pic! Hopefully mine will make it to 4 months and beyond. This is my third potters. This is the first one that is actually eating stuff! I've seen it eat mysis, frozen cyclops, and nori. The one's I had before didn't eat anything and died in about a week. Crossing my fingers on this one. Anyways keep posting those pics of your Potters!

i'll keep my fingers crossed for you. i hear that these are really difficult fish to acclimate to home aquriums. i guess i just lucked out, i never had a problem with him. he was kinda shy for a day or two, but after that he was right out with the rest of the community eating everything in sight. i think haveing some caluerpa growing in the tank helped him when he was introduced. now he grazes the rock all day, once in a while he takes frozen preps (mysis, enriched brine) but mostly just grazes. once acclimated they are pretty hardy from what i hear, hope it works out for you, truely a great addition to any reef tank. mines name is Harry (potter) get it. haha... no really his name is harry.
