Everyone weather the storm ok?

Reef Bass

Anyone need to fire up their generators?

My power was delightfully continuous yesterday.

According to the news reports I saw, Santa Rosa got 2.75-3 inches and some peaks around the bay (Ben Lomond, Mt. Umunhum) got 10-13 inches! Now that's a lot of rain.

Hey guys,
Weathered the storm O.K. and I am nicely healing from my battle with poison oak,(thanks to prednesone)although I may get a new case from today:(
Work was interesting yestreday as we spent most of it clearing creeks and trees in southern Marin. Rain totals were near 9 inches in Kentfield and the winds were awesome.

My buddy is coming over tomorrow to help me move my reef tank and then the FO comes inside. Maybe some photos on Friday although I may be trying to get to the sierras for one more chance at tossing some flies. Maybe the Silver Fork or the Rubicon. Hmmmm.

Glad you're healing Craig. Good luck with the flies. I'm heading to Clear Lake tomorrow to hopefully catch some chubby largemouth bass! Yeah buddy!

Craig are you using the Tecnu preventative lotion before going out to brush. I highly recommend it if you haven't used it before. We have cut back on all our sick days after we started using it,as in the past we had it all over in the most private of places. Your lucky to get that Prednesone in you that stuff really works.

I made it to Clear Lake and back. Jigs in 25-35' off rocky points was our best pattern. All fish were released and swam away to fight another day. Here's me with some of our fish from Thursday and a solo fish shot on Friday:

Wait why do I fish for wimpy trout anyways?!! ...Great job Ken, I need to get up there before the season is over.

Both my buddys wife and mine are sick so it looks like a quick trip to the Russian for some smallies is all I get tomorrow.

247 My boss and I looked for that preventitive stuff today and couldn't find it anywhere. Did it go out of buisiness. Send me a link if you can find it and I will try it. My problem has been we have been fixing a trail so I have been having to chip bunches of coyote brush and branches and with the leaves gone it is hard to tell PO when you rae working fast so we chip it and that is when it gets me.

p.s. The FO tank is in the house and the other is moved. Now to finish painting the wall and fill her with water. Yeah I could do it instead of fish tomorrow....Nah:)

Trout are awesome fish too, and one could argue that the scenery in which they live is far superior to the giant puddles overrun with lake lice (waterskis, jetskis) that largemouth tend to inhabit.

No, but I sure would like to be a Ranger owner! My buddy has a beautiful Ranger (his second) and I was fortunate enough to be on back.

I had left my usual fishing hat in his truck last fishing trip, and he of course didn't leave it there, so when we got to the lake I had to borrow one of his, which happened to be Ranger branded. And clearly someone at Ranger was thinking about possible marketing exposure by branding the INSIDE of the livewell lids so bodaciously so that when pictures were taken there would be no guessing what kind of boat it was.
