Eviota sigillata. Don't ever buy this fish - it will always die before finishing quarantine.

Shortest recorded vertebrate lifespan found in a coral reef fish

... Here we document the remarkable eight week lifespan of the coral reef pygmy goby Eviota sigillata...
... Coral reef pygmy gobies spend their first three weeks as larvae in the open ocean before undergoing metamorphosis and returning to settle on the reef, where they mature within 1"“2 weeks and have a maximum adult lifespan of just three and a half weeks.
...

Another extremely shortlived goby:

Short lifespan and high mortality in the western Pacific coral reef goby Trimma nasa

...the estimated maximum age was approximately 87 d, and the average length of the pelagic larval duration was 33.9 ± 3.7 d (SD), nearly 39% of the maximum lifespan...

Life span, growth and mortality in the western Pacific goby Trimma benjamini, and comparisons with T. nasa

Examination of daily increment rings in the saccular otoliths of 91 specimens of the small goby, Trimma benjamini, reveal a maximum age of 140 days with an average pelagic larval duration of 33.9 ± 4.3 days (SD), or 24.2% of the maximum lifespan...

There are a number of very beautiful gobies in the genus Trimma (see Top Ten Trimma) but I would be extremely careful with paying a lot for them as their lifespans are in the ranges of seasonal killifish: single-digit weeks or months, a year tops.
