Evo 200 Dimmable LED vs T5's : Lighting question

I cant decide which one to chose for a 40 gallon tank. It would either be the evo 200 or the 36" tek light 6 bulb combo w/ the ATI bulbs. Has anyone tried or has an evo 200 dimmable currently over their tank?
Which one would be best for sps color/growth and overall coral health+ color?

Evo: http://reefkoi.com/index.php?main_p...d=2460&zenid=34057ee54910224f289853919b7470e1

Tek : http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store...es/sunlight-supply-tek-light-t5-fixtures.html

the t5's would have the combo of:
(front to back)
ATI Blue+
ATI aquablue
KZ fiji purple
KZ fiji purple
ATI Blue+
ATI aquablue

I would do the Tek but not that combo unless you have seen it in person and like it. It will be extremely white with little to no "pop" from the corals.

You only need 1 purple tube in a 6 bulb setup unless you want to run something like 4 ati blue plus and 2 ati purple plus, which is really cool BTW. I would run 4 blue plus, 1 coral plus and 1 purple plus for bulbs.

I went with the ReefKoi and reviewed it here.

No frills, but a good light for the price. Lights my 48x24x12 tank quite well. I think they changed it now and added 90deg optics. So, PAR will be stronger, but coverage less. I thought about T-5s, but hate changing all the bulbs LOL and didn't have time to do another diy. Color is great for LEDs, better than my AI Sol, and better than most of my CREE diys. Although, I do like the CREEs when neutral whites are used instead of cool whites and some blues are added in. Otherwise, the CREEs just don't have the greens and reds of this light. I don't think you can go wrong either way. I always liked T-5s too. The TEK dosn't have great reflectors, but is a good light. You don't really need much punching power for a 40 though, so, not really a big deal...

yeah i agree. I really hate buying the bulbs plus it builds up over time :/ I also didnt go DIY b/c when i factored in the price its a little bit cheaper than the Evo. so why bother setting it up with a chance of screwing it up rather than to have a fully set up one.

I think i'll shift more towards the LEDs now.
