I have to comment on Marine Depot's quality service I have received over the past few weeks.
I ordered an Aqua-Medic Ocean/Sexy Light 3x250 T5 fixture to replace my existing canopy and lights. It was ordered a week before Christmas. I also ordered a bunch of dry goods. All the dry goods arrived in less than one week.
The fixture was drop shipped from Aqua-medic out of Colorado. Well it would have been had there not been snow storm.
The lights arrived though the week after Christmas and would have been in time for Xmass had it not been for the snow storm.
The issue I have is not with MD but Aqua-Medic. They sent the fixture, and the ballasts but no connectors between the two.
One of the bulbs too was broken MD replaced it, it arrive two days after I called via UPS. Excellent.
I called and emailed MD they quickly contacted AM and worked with me as did AM to determine the type of connectors I needed. I even sent AM and copied MD the digital pictures of the connectors i would need. I sent them a picture of the fixture connection and the ballasts so that i would get the right connector.
I received the connectors from AM. The the wrong connectors.
I called back again and asked AM to send the right connectors and asked for Saturday delivery this time as they had been sending me these things priority mail which isnt sent at a priority at all.
That was last Thursday. They called Friday to inform me they were sending me the connectors via priority mail again I asked for Saturday delivery so I could install my now 3 week old fixture. He demurred and said priority mail.
Its now Thursday and still no connectors. I will never endorse or purchase another Aqua-Medic product again. To say I disappointed in Aqua-Medic is an understatement.
MD has stood behind me and tried to do what they can. I realize they are also at the mercy of some of their suppliers. They have been responsive to all my emails and have helped where ever possible.
I expected more from AM and considering the cost of their hardware I also expected premium customer service.
