Hey Guys
So after the move, I decided to get a bigger tank than I had previously. Beings that I am in a loft with exposed glass, brick,ect. I wanted something a little more contemporary. So I went with a cube. I had a hell of a time transporting it though, as I do not have a truck. And a cubes dimensions are something I have never had to get into a 2 door before.
So attached is my pic. It is a 40 gallon custom cube. Custom maple cabinet and maple rim. This is REAL maple. Not pressed wood or laminate. And the rim is real wood as well. I am going to run a Viper 150 and probably throw a dual t5 actinic on the tank. I will run my Remora Pro HOB skimmer and a xp canister filter with media in the canister. So far, this tank looks SOOO sexy setting in perfect view of the entrance to my loft. I cannot wait to see it full of life....
As for livestock.. I do not know which direction I will go. I am thinking of mimicking a shallow water reef. I just got an AMAZING connection with a buddy from Australia that will be shipping me some amazing specimens. Some I have never seen in this part of the country before
Squiggle Angles, the most colorful Blastos, Fire and Ice Scoly variants with bright green and blue and purple..... AHHHH. And he is gunna frag stuff from his tank which was photographed by Roger Steene. I hope he sends me some of his blood-red Faulkneri..... More pics to come...
