Exotic Aquatic

Anyone been to Exotic Aquatic (outside Baltimore) recently?

Its been awhile since I have, and I was wondering if anyone happened to notice if they had any dry base rock. And if so, if you remember any details (like was it light weight, porous, available in different shapes, and the cost per lb.)
If not, I will just call them and ask, but figured I could get a more objective opinion here. And their website says about nothing.
I want to build a partial rock wall in my 56 gallon, which will require dry rock. I'm not a fan of That Fish Place's; the last time I checked it was too homogenous and heavy.
I know people who have had a *&%^ of a time getting their rock from Marco, so I don't consider that an option. I'd rather hand pick the rock if possible, but would consider ordering on-line. If anyone has a place they would like to recommend, I'm open.
Thanks.

Really? I am seriously thinking about heading down there. In fact, I probably would have already gone, but I have been totally brain dead all week. I haven't figured out that it is March. I have these things that I am suppose to do in March, but I am missing them because I can't seem to grasp the fact that it IS March currently.

I think this is what happens when you use to have a job that was somewhat mentally stimulating, but you have been out of work for a year.

So, Patrick, when are you free? I'm busy Sat & Sun the 14th & 15 (unless I forget what I am suppose to be doing then...) Otherwise, life is pretty up in the air. We can chat about dinoflagets (I probably couldn't have spelled that even if I wasn't currently brain dead.)

b'more! You're down there all the time! Sure, I'll let you know. I'll take notes (so I don't forget!)

I ordered carib sea reef rock from petsolutions. It was only $12 shipping for 100+ lbs.

Went there tonight. No dry reef rock (other then some really sad little pieces of rubble that were $3.00 a lb.) The live rock wasn't very impressive, either. Most didn't even have coraline on it, most was big chunks, and it was $9.00/lb. TFP's rock is nicer looking, and cheaper.
Their fish prices were high.
I don't know about the coral prices; they did look healthy, though.

Personally, I have never looked for dry base rock, but you could always call first to ask. Their livestock appears healthy every time I have visited, and it continues to be one of my favorite stores. If you already have live rock in your tank, any calcium containing rock will become live rock eventually. Trust me.

Bulk Reef Supply has their dry Eco rox on sale with free shipping for the next couple days. 2.39 a lb if I remember correctly.
