Exotic BTA's available in the UK?

I have one really nice Green BTA but would like another colour variant, Rose is OK but just wondering if there are any other funky ones available here in the UK.

I don't think there are that many members in this specific forum to answer your question. Don't you have an LFS where you are? Maybe call them and see if they can order you one.

I could do that, but be at the mercy of whatever arrived and I would probably have to pay up front. It is an option though. I know I can order a Rainbow from one of the better LFS's in London. It's just the not knowing what it's like until you get it that bothers me.

Dkuhlmann - So if I did order a Rainbow, should I ask them to QT it for me or treat it or something?

I don't have a QT myself but would imagine that this could well be a wild caught BTA and may need it, either way, advice appreciated!

wild caught BTAs are harder to acclimate imo, but no treatment is needed. Specially if this is your first anemone in tank. have Cipro on hand just in case.

Well I for sure would want to see pictures of it to make sure it's not bleached. Then you need to find a source to get Cipro from and have it on hand when your nem arrives. Most bubble tips don't need the treatment, at least the ones I've seen. This also depend on where it's from and what was done to it or where its kept. For instance Petco here has a bad reputation nation wide and they for the most part have bleached nems. It's just what it is LOL.

So yeah if you can get a decent picture of it and all look swell and you have Cipro on hand just in case, then go for it.

I phoned the LFS and they said the Rainbow's are seasonal, they had a couple last month but don't expect anymore until the Spring (patience is a virtue!). So I left them my mobile number to get in touch when they have some. This is good as I will be able to see it before purchasing
