Is there anything that he was looking for or planning to get in, that would lead you to mention this???????
The last few times I have been in there, I have been wondering if they are farming/buying local frags or getting wholesale from out of the area and where they are comming form. I only ask, because they don't look like your normal.....pull them out of the box and slap them in the water pieces........better than that......
I only ask, because I was impressed and they "seemed" to be tank raised frags and not just your run of the mill wholesale stuff.
As long as we are on the Exotic subject, I would like to give props to, sorry I can't remember his name........used to have dark long hair, and I believe he cut it recently with some tats.....
No its not Matt, (I have never had the oppurtunity to introduce myself because he is always busy and helping out customers (good thing)), however, this gentlemen has always been VERY cool and very informative whenever I get in there.
I have to say, that kind of service is really refreshing and I want to say, thank you.........keep up the GREAT work, the last couple of times I have been there the service has been EXCELLENT!
I have always found that they consistently carried some unique pieces.......Potters Angels and Chevron Tangs for instance at the old location, and found that refreshing and always keeps me returning. Hence, I understand the point of bringing in the rare fish, carpet anenome once in a while and holding on to it to draw people in......excellent marketing!!!!
With as many new stores around Sacto, everyone needs a niche to stay competitive.......I hope they all find their's so we (the consumers) will benifit with a wide variety of options and the best of the best, which in the end will make MARS a stonger and more knowledgable/diverse club.
