Experience with Copperband Butterflyfish?

I've recently been wanting to add a copperband to my 55 gallon reef tank (two years old) but have heard some mixed reports on whether or not to add this species to a reef tank and add it to a fish only tank. Has anyone had any experience with a copperband in their reef system? I have SPS and LPS, zoo's and a pink haitian anemone...other inverts are simple nassarius snails, stars, and a seacuke. I don't want to add a fish that will stress the inhabitants in my tank already, yet i've wanted a copperband for quite some time now.

i think you roll the dice with this fish. ive heard "behave" but my friend's copperband eats snails and hes seen it picking at a clam.

I've had mine for about three months in my reef. He eats Mysis like crazy and hasn't touched any zoo's, SPS, or my LPS. I only had one aptasia in my tank which he made quick work of as well. Just make sure you get one that is eating before hand as many perish when they won't accept frozen food. Mine also spends his day hunting down pods in the tank, so it helps to have a healthy population as well.

I had a copperbanded for quite a while with no issue as to picking. i did however buy that fish from a fellow reefer taking down his tank. Purchasing a copperbanded is iffy. They often won't eat. Make sure the fish is eating frozen mysis also putting it in an establish tank can be a problem as they are easily picked on and that causes them not to eat.
