experience with ebli's angelfish

if anyone has kept this fish, i would like to know how it did in a reef tank. from what i read it may go after soft coral, zoa, and lps. but that is what most articles claim about all angelfish. kind of worried about my ZOA, .

I had one back in the late 80's into the early 90's and kept it with softies and LPS and mushrooms. It did not bother anything. I did not have zoas though.

Ours is a bully and killed the first and only acans we added. It also has picked at everything in the tank, but tends to leave it all alone after a taste-test. (other corals include softies - toadstool & finger leathers, xenia - and a frogspawn).

Pretty fish but nasty personality IMO... but every fish is different

well seems like its to risky for me. i choose coral over fish, i can always find another fish.

good choice, i had an ebli for about 3 months and it got a taste for some lps and sps but not softies. it also became a bully and started to chase other fish so i removed the it.

The Ebli is more suited for a FOWLR. Most of the Dwarf Angels are coral pickers. Sometime Coral Beauty and Flames are suited for Reefs. Overall Dwarf Angels are a hit and a miss.
