We have a Male Mccullochi Pseudochromis (Oblique Lined Dottyback) that we were thining of adding to our 380g reef tank. We got the fish as part of a tank buyout of a fellow reefer that was getting out of the hobby. It has taken up residence in our sump/fuge this past couple of weeks while we decide if we want to add it to our tank or put it up for sale.

It is a truly beautiful fish :

Our current stock list :

Magnificent Rabbitfish
Orange Shoulder Tang
Purple Tang
Sailfin Tang
Geometric Hawkfish
pair of orchid dottybacks
ORA indigo dottyback (orchid/neon hybrid)
Golden Angel
Engineer Goby
Cleaner Wrasse
5 Peppermint Shrimp
1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Pair of Ocellaris
Pair of True Percs (Came with the tank buyout, but were too small to go into the sump safely -- think inlet strainer size)
Ornate Wrasse
Yellow Corris Wrasse
pair of Green Spotted Mandarins

The current dottybacks have been in there for a couple of weeks, with the indigo going in last week. They all get along fine as there are tons of LR caves, holes, etc to live and hide in.

We would like to add the oblique lined dottyback, but wanted to find out anyone with first hand experience with these fish in a larger tank. We plan to add some fairy wrasses later on (flame wrasse harem, etc). and what to be sure that there won't be any conflicts between them. Everything we read was about < 100g tanks, nothing really about larger tanks, only that larger == better.

Any and all feedback about this fish is appreciated.

Thanks :)
