Wanting to do something with easy to keep soft corals that still are striking colors. I know enough to know enough to stay away from the Dendronepthea and other non-photosynthetics in this family of corals. I am also interested in Red Silk corals.

I want to keep something that is easy and that can be fed (if need be) at night with either cyclops or blended plankton mush. I have some zoanthids coming from a friend of mine and will also be looking into Euplyllia paradivisia and others in this family of corals I know that these are LPS not softies - Euphyllia)

soft corals are actually new to me as I have kept SPS for a number of years and the last soft corals I remember having were the dreaded Dendros and that was in highschool (lived and learned fast).

Purple lemnalia - likes light and positioning under powerhead or filter (flow is diffused and up).
White lemnalia - actually slightly pinkish, tolerant to low light, but not to full shade, relatively high flow, give it time to adapt to new conditions.

Bright colors:
- bright red, green or violet mushrooms - like light, IME (have red only);
- green star polyps (GSP), white xenia, neon-green candycane (Caulastrea).

No special feeding for any of these, feeding for a fish and other corals only.
