Experiment with different montiporas

Has anyone ever try to put green,red and purple monti together and try to grow them that way. Am going to try and see if it works.i would love for them to blend together and have spots of different colors. Hope it works :wildone:

I have seen it work. Someone actually mounted them in a checker board configuration. It was pretty cool. I've seen others place them together an get them to whorl around each other.

They can be very tolerant of each other. Like Capt said, a couple years ago sOmeone was grafting some pretty wild patterns together.

I want to say it was a TOTM, but it was at least 2 years ago, maybe 3. I tried running through the archives but its not working and a search yielded bubkus as far as pics. It's definitely been done with montis and millies too.
