I have a flame angel and a bicolor angel in 10g qt for 4 weeks now and have done 7 tt on them so far with 4 rounds of Prazipro. they were doing great and no signs of any illness until 6 day ago I noticed that the bicolor started flashing right after I dosed the 3rd round of Prazipro. 3 days go I re-dose prazi with the tank transfer and now I noticed they are both flashing regularly mostly along the gills. they are both eating and acting normal but the flame has become more picky eater now and I'm not sure what to do next.
I did do two 5 min fresh water dips 3 days apart when I first got them and didn't notice anything falling off. temp is at 82 and 1.015 SG measured with refractometer. not sure why they suddenly started flashing and have a feeling maybe the prazi is not working? Cant find formalin anywhere(not even online) but I have quick Cure and Paraguard on hand.
Should I do a 50min bath with quick cure which i know has formalin in it or a bath wit paraguard? any harm dong either with low sg?
Any suggestion, advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not to doubt you, but just want to cover all basis. You made sure that everything was cleaned and dried properly during the TTM? You didn't use a tool or gadget going back and forth? IMO, I don't think it's flukes.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I have two of everything and all equipment was left to dry completely for 48 hours and no cross contamination between the two tanks. if its ich, I'm not sure how it would have survived 7 ttm.
I did a fresh water dip for 5 min on each fish and didnt notice anything fall off, but then again I'm not sure exactly what flukes look like and behave when in fresh water. saw some small particles in the water but not sure exactly if its just debris from the water or flukes.
I did 50 min bath in paraguard as well and transferred them for the 8th TT.

8 Tank transfers? over how many days?

it only needs to be done for 12 days..

Personally, I soaked everything in freshwater rather than allowing it to dry.. as I believe drops of water can remain, especially in cracks/corners, in suction cups on heaters..

Have you been monitoring ammonia? if their gills have gotten ammonia burned they could be acting odd...

the active ingredient in prazipro also causes side effects in humans.. nausea, dizziness, headache.. so unusual swimming patterns and loss of appetite in fish is commonly observed... some people have seizures..

so, most people only do 2 rounds of prazipro... (first round kills everything but the eggs, 2nd round 5-7 days later kills the eggs that have hatched before they have a chance of laying new eggs) You might be going overboard on your medications/TTM causing unnecessary stress...

TT done every 3 days, I know its over board but I rather be safe then sorry.
I thoroughly wash every equipment with fresh water and dry with paper towel and then let air dry for 48 hours min before I reuse.
The transfers usually go very smooth with little to no stress to the fish and they usually eat perfectly after each transfer but as of last night the flame has stopped eating.
I know there has been instances where prazipro wasn't effective against flukes and I'm hoping thats not what I'm dealing with here.
