Extending radion cables

I have recently purchased XR30W pros and need longer cables to get the ballasts farther away from my tank - to reduce heat. Eco-tech sells 3 Meter extension cables, but they are $50 each and I need 4 cables.

Has anyone found cheaper cables (or matching ends - so that I might make my own) for this purpose (to extend distance between light and ballast).

I could cut and splice the existing cables, but don't want to loose the warranty on the lights.

I think you have to go with their cable, unless you can get some manufactured at a lower rate...

I have to buy three of them myself in the end.
