External Fuge question?

I'm working on a plan for a future build, with custom sump this is just a simple blue print its not drawn to scale by any means. The tank will have a bean animal overflow with one drain going directly to the sump and the other will have a T joint leading to a external fuge if the fuge is the same level and the sump how would I get water from the fuge back to the sump other than using a pump? If there's really no simple way and I have to use a pump would the microfana and copapods in the fuge be able to make it through the pump in the fuge and the return pump to the tank?

Drawing looks good to me.I don't think you realllyyy need the over under over between the skimmer and media chambers.
I would just pump the water from the fuge back to the display. Sure the pump will do it's thing but it's unavoidable and imo not a super huge deal.
 
Yeah I figured I did not not need the extra baffle but I figured what the hell! And should I just plum in a return line into the sump that to the top of the tank instead of the sump?

If you are alright with having 2 returns, pumping the water from the fuge to the display IMO would be best. Bypassing the sump will save all of your little creatures you are working so hard to populate in the fuge. They will have a more direct path to the display.

here's a pic of mine. Made by lifereef. The fuge is fed from the main pump. Goes in the top front of the fuge. The back of the fuge has an overflow built in. Just basically like the all in one tanks. There is a bulkhead in the bottom side of the fuge. Where the overflow is. And it goes to the front of my return section of my sump. This set up works flawless. And it has an emergency overflow built in that drains to the sump. This is the best pic I have right now. No chance of overflow. Or chance of pump draining fuge.

I don't think your drawing will work. You can't have you tank overflow into 2 sumps each with different pumps. One sump will end up running dry and one will/could overflow. You can never "tune" your overflow to match your return pump.
I would have the first sump overflow into the second then have it return to tank. Or just get a bigger single sump if possible.
 
What I would do is run the fuge water level 5-6" higher than the return section in your sump and drill the fuge at that level to drain into the return section maybe 1-2" lower. No need for a pump in the fuge. Yeah this puts an extra hole in your fuge and sump, but at least you can eliminate the need for a pump in the fuge.

That's was what I was thinking because this will be in a separate room so if anything I was thinking of just having the fuge elevated.
