Looks like the newer 200g+ tanks all favor the external overflow. I'm looking at the modular marine external overflow. But how many of you have had leaks? Do you support the drain pipes? Or is it pretty solid once you install it? Thinking to go with 1,5" drains.
I have seen them come loose on one 300 gallon system in the past. I think it was after about 3 years? All he did was retighten it and it was good to go. Very slow leak. Nothing crazy.
