External pump causing micro bubbles

How can I figure out where and why its causeing bubbles? It just started to caus bubbles. Could it be air getting in the plumbing?

yes, that would be the most likely reason. Even the smallest of leaks will let air in. I would check all the plumbing connections for any clues

Is it constant or does it blow micro bubbles every few minutes? If it's not constant then the bubbles might be from a another source and they just build up in an elbow until large enough that the flow pushes it through.

Its constant. I am going to try and seal every joint with silicon tomorrow.

Try a filter sock on the drain line....helps reduce bubbles caused from the water rushing down the drain pipe.....

look at the intake bulk head fitting that feeds the pump,and see if you have a small vortex sucking air into the fitting.if you do section off with plastic baffels so the water goes under and over the baffels into the intake.this will stop the vortex.

I checked, and it doesnt. I even tested it by putting a sponge on the intake to see if it stopped. Has to be something in the plumbing.

check and put a stainless steel hose clamp on all connections,and i put silicone on all connections also. make sure you do this on the suck side of the pump.keep at it you will find the air leak,good luck.

When you turn off the pump any place where air can get sucked in, water should come out. If the plumbing doesnt leak, there is a chance the pump is not getting enough water. Make sure the inlet has no restrictions.

Put Vaseline on each joint - one at a time. The Vaseline will not get sucked in but will stop the air getting in. When you find the culprit - fix it.
