external tunze compartments?

I have seen some external waveboxes but not any regular tunzes external. Has anyone done it?

The wavebox is not water tight so it cannot be mounted externally.

Proman, i have seen a few people mount their stream inside the box but they have to drill holes around it for the water intake or else it will turn into another wavebox or it will run dry if you have longer interval.

Roger, he meant to say the custom external acrylic box to house the tunze wavebox or the stream pump....

I would think that would work fine. I have seen them mounted in the overflows similarily. My only thought would be to make sure enough water can make it in over the top to keep it full and not cause a waterfall effect if that is the only way it gets in. Which would potentially throw a bubble here and there down into the box so that the Tunze would chop and spit bubbles into the tank.

Look good but i would do the teeth in the bottom instead of on the top for the stream box that way the water supply will go through the bottom instead of the top to avoid the water falls and micro bubble...
