Extra media reactor...what to put in it??

So I have a 150 mixed reef, 60 gal sump but no refugium. I currently have 2 little fishes 150 reactors with carbon and gfo. So I got the chance to buy a Next Reef MR1 reactor for super cheap that even if I didn't use it would still be worth getting and selling later.

My tank is now medium stocked but plan on adding more fish. I have the Aquamaxx EM300 skimmer which is rated for heavily stocked 220g tank.

So what media should I put in it?

I've seen a few people wrap LED's around the 2 little fishes reactors and grow macro algae in them.

I'm using one of my reactors as a second chamber for a pseudo dual-stage calcium reactor. My CA reactor is a single stage, so I'm running the effluent through the second reactor to raise the Ph before it gets back to the tank.

I beer dose nightly... Vodka/Tequila dosing on the weekend..

I always thought mcgyvr could make beer with just duct tape and some pocket lint. Bummed to read that he needs a reactor.

Don't be bummed... I do make the beer with duct tape and pocket lint.. The reactor is just a sweeeett delivery system..
I call it a power bong...

Toss some bio pellets or xport N03 in it. A little extra nitrate removal never hurt anybody.

Yeah, i was thinking of maybe doing a bio-pellet reactor. would i need to do any modifications to the unit? keep the sponge on top and bottom?
