Hey guys just wonderi g what other media i should run on my 65 gallon fowlr with 20 long sump ....75 lbs of rock.....

I was thinking chemi pure and purgen ?

I dont have algae at all but figured it would help in the long run

Bio pallets may be, even GFO

I use my biopallet reactor for phosguard it was a mess, so i changed back to biopallets

Carbon dosing (biopellets) is not a great choice for a new tank that's not having any issues. I don't see the need for most media; maybe GAC if you have warmongering corals and no tangs, maybe gfo for the last traces of phos after husbandry is all sorted. But biopellets are probably the only think that can actually hurt your tank (instead of just wasting money).

I dont have any corals so no gac.....

So should i add only gfo?

I was just curious bc i didnt want to have problems down the line

Can't hurt to get some phos out, especially with new rocks.
You'll save a lot of money on gfo if you get a proper test or Hanna brand ulr phos checker to tell you when it's used up. Otherwise you never know if it's used up in the first couple hours or you are throwing away perfectly good stuff after a month.

Just to be clear though, you're going to have algaes during the first year. Cleaning the tank and using gfo are good nutrient export to help the phases pass quicker but you won't avoid it entirely.
