extra parts/broken parts on 4002

Hi Roger,

Received my 4002 from Champion, drop shipped from you. Thanks! I have a couple of questions.

1. I ordered and paid for a universal v4a bracket for horizontal mounting. I received this bracket but there was an identical one in the 4002 box. I have 3 other classic turbelles purchased over the last year and I've always had to order the extra part. Have you started adding this bracket to the 4002 as a standard part?

2. The housing for the impeller has a 1 inch crack in it. Doesn't affect performance but will affect resale if I choose to go that route. Any chance I can get a replacement piece and I'll return this one when I send in the 2002s for a cleaning?

I take it you mean part 0141.160? Is it a crack and not a casting mark? If it is cracked I will replace it. Yes, I was told they were going to start including this accessory piece but I did not know they were included on my last shipment- I thought this was at least a month away. Confirm the part number and that it is an actual crack and let me know. I will send the part.

Hi, I can't confirm the part # (0141.160) unless you can direct me somewhere to double check, but its the round plastic impeller casing that is made of two parts and is glued together. I can confirm that the crack is indeed a stress crack and isn't the join.

I don't need the mounting bracket so do I initiate a return inquiry with Champion but ship the part to you?

The return would be done through Champion and shipped to Champion. IMO- it won't be worth the shipping or hassle for the inexpensive part. I will send out the replacement part tomorrow.
