I guess it is a little pricey to hop on the bandwagon. The way I was looking at it is that I was getting free shipping and $25 off of my first order. That pushed me into an order. Plus they have a few corals that I have been wanting for some time now. But, it looks like there was some confusion and the main coral I wanted sold . Long story. So, It looks like I won't be placing the order anymore. There is a chance that the confusion will be worked out and I will still be placing the order, but it seems unlikely. If it happens then I will update here.

However, the good news is that we've talked to him and he is willing to let you have it and he is taking something else instead. I'm going to give you a call right now ...


To brad123 - all of the Ricordias on our site are Yumas which you can't compare to any other Ricordias when it comes to price. If you look around on other retail sites I think you'll see that Yumas generally go for $69-89 per polyp. As far as your $5 polyps, we'll buy as many as you care to sell us at that price. We'll either buy them from you or we can trade you for store credit. Please give me a call at 866-926-7257.

Your missing the point, I don't know if mine are Yumas or not but they look identical to the ones in the link I posted and they don't look that good either and there is no way they are worth that much money.

I don't mean to bash but your prices are higher than any LFS I've seen on almost everything.

I understand your point-of-view. The only thing I ask you to keep in mind is that we have quite a bit more overhead here than most local fish stores. Most of our pieces are hand selected by either transhippers or wholesalers, because we try to get the best of the best pieces. So, they put there mark-up on it as well as the original price. Then we are 100 % WYSIWYG. Meaning we pay people to take pics of each and every piece we sell. Plus, if customer reaches a certain point we give them free overnight shipping. Also, our guarentee is longer than most local fish stores. Believe me, we are trying to be as competitve as possible with our pricing. We know that we have to be in order to survive.
We are always welcome to suggestions, and we try to go the extra mile for each of our customers. (I'm sure Zak will vouch for that). Please feel free to email me with any comments that you feel can make our site and company better. We're always willing to listen.

Look at Dr mac web site, he's probably close to setup like yours. Everything has it's own pic etc... and for the most part his stuff is $20-$40 less than anything you have.

Brad, that site you gave has some pretty nice prices actually. Especialy on the SPS Frags. Thier frags are only $20 each. We should consider a group order . They have free priority overnight shipping if you spend $200 or more. Thats a pretty nice deal.....

Not to be rude, but perhaps there should be a "Dr. Mac Group Order" thread rather than posting it all in the "Extreme Corals Order" thread. He may have a coral or two that I'm interested in as well, but let's save that discussion for the aforementioned suggested thread.

Take it easy man....I think your thread has pretty much run its course. Noone seems interested in buying at the prices extreme charges. Its nothing against you by any means, but if we can get better prices other places, we likely will go for it. Im not really interested in ordering now anyway. I still have a few other corals I want to get from "local reefers" before I buy anything else from a store.

It is totally understandable that if you can get better prices other places, you will likely will go for it. You can put me in that boat as well I am the exact same way. Believe me, I shopped on every online store I could find before placing the order I did with extreme corals. On the items I ordered, they had the best prices (though I'm sure most of you will find that hard to believe ).

And yes, This thread has run it's course.
