Extreme shrinkage

I've had a GBTA in my 56 for almost a year. It has split once and usually looks very happy. I added a RBTA about two weeks ago and everything seemed fine for about a week. This past week, they all appear to be shrinking. Their feet are still firmly planted but they almost seem like they are hiding. The tank has plenty of flow, and the 150 mh lamp (14k) is about 6 months old. Just tested parameters and here they are:

Temp 79.8
PH: 8.2
Ca: 440
Kh: 9
Salinity: 1.024

Anything I'm missing? Just did a water change last week.

Wish I could help...(just kidding, but you did make me laugh...)

But really, when stuff looks off in my tanks, I do a water change, so, I don't know...

I also have a 29 gallon with a few RBTA's, and it's gone well over 6-9 months with-out a water change before, and when one is done, they're not happy for about a week or 2 later. They don't like water changes if I go too long inbetween changes.

My 2 cents...How's your nitrate? I know you just did a water change but sometimes it will creep up. Just a thought because it happened to me once long ago, it took several large changes to correct.
