Thats not true. Actually it is not known which palythoas do and don't. Zoanthids and palythoas are diff species.

Palys are not ugly actually.

The pic is of a paly. Not a zoa.

any who heres a summery....

Zoanthids and Polythoas are Zoas because they are apart of the Zoantharia family, i.e. tigers and lions are both cats.
