I have a 30 gallon shallow/frag tank for sale (24"x24"x12" - LxWxH). I am parting it out. I only used it for about 6 months as a reef. It is in great shape. Corner overflow. Black silicone. Rimless. I will include a Koralia pump (600g/h?) for circulation, the bulkheads/plumbing hose, and a magfloat magnet algae cleaner. I had to use the sump for another tank but I may have an extra tank lying around that can work.
It is a similar tank (as fas dimensions to the upcoming january 2013 TOTM (http://reefkeeping.com/joomla/index.php/current-issue/article/129-tank-of-the-month). My plan was to set-up a similar system but plans changed. Excuse the mess in the photo as we moved recently so the garage is a bit cluttered. There is a pic when it was set-up (with the light that is being offered) and now empty.
I am selling a few things:
-Tank + stand (plumbing and koralia)(no sump but may have extra one) $285 obo (LFS has tank alone listed at $300)
-Chiller (JBJ Arctica Nano 1/20 hp) (purchased for this tank (like new) $100 obo
-Pendant Metal Halide (Giesemann dual 250W mogul socket-IceCap ballasts) $425
-Deltec AP 600 skimmer (great skimmer) $350
-Elos Osmocontroller (older model but never used- brand new in box) $75

I can see now how that looks. I originally had this light over one of my previous tanks that was larger and more sps heavy. The light fixture has two independently controlled 250W lamps with two individual ballasts. I only used one lamp to light this tank. Actually the corals did very well and the light never created heat on the tank as the fixture was mounted >2 feet above the tank. I was using the chiller because I wanted the water extra cool and stable for some seahorses I was keeping. The issue became that my wife and I had our first baby so time became scarce. Hope that makes sense.
