Ya what groups on Facebook seems kinda dead on here lately

I try to check both. It's just my perception but the majority of experienced users spend more time on RC or R 2 R etc (forums) where you can search old posts etc. Facebook TENDS to be the new users or the ones needing quick answers. Its common to to see very SHTOOOPID answers by other newbies on FB whereas its less common here.
I've removed myself from a few of the smaller less experienced and immature groups on Facebook and only left myself on a few that SEEM to have a better following. Facebook tends to be daily posts on "What is this?" -> Aiptasia, Pineapple Sponge, etc. Those groups can get VERY annoying since the younger generation (and some older ones) tend to not take the time to even ask Google rather than ask a hoard of other newbies with inexperienced answers.
Of course I am on some of those FB groups, but daily I ask myself why? LOL
