Think green jello. That's what color his water is. You cannot see the back of the tank.

Think its Phytoplankton? Might want to bottle that up and culture it.

Where Sepeku? I would like to read some of the comments.
Well, for those of you who doubt the difference in using tap water and RODI, here is the proof.
My LFS told me that using tap water would be perfectly fine in the tank. That is how I got to where I was during the posts you see above.
3 - 50% water changes and two weeks later, here is where I am now....

Nothing changed except the use of RODI instead of tap water and running some carbon through a cheap, HOB filter. I tested the tank prior to the water changes and TDS was at around 275. Now, the tank sits at around 30.
Now that I can see the light at the end of the fishtank (LOL), I have ordered the 75 gallon tank, and additional 80lbs LR, and have a refugium/sump designed. An Octopus NW150 will be the protein skimmer and I will be ordering a 48" TEK light with 6-54W T5's for lighting.
Trust me... If you don't spend time on RC listening to those with experience and take it seriously, you'll spend your hard earned cash 10 fold....

Terrific customer service, and I received the unit about 2 days after the order was placed. I ordered the float valve and it arrived in the same length of time.

Take the sponge pre-filters off the power sweeps. They are a nitrate factory waiting to happen. Until you get anything that can actually get sucked into the powersweeps, remove them. After you get fish/anemone/etc wrap the plastic peices in window screen material or something similar. Just be sure to clean them every so often so you don't reduce the flow.
