FAILED BRACE in my 375 gallon tank HELP!

They have lost a sale from me. . . . I will never buy a product for someone who doesn't stand behind something that was used the way it was supposed to. WHAT A JOKE!!!!! They sounds like a sad excuse for a company. . . I really hope Leemar sees this and realizes their mistake. ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I am sure this post has cost them 100 times the amount they would have paid fixing their mistake. And even if it were to be proved as not their mistake, they should have worked with you.
Customer service sucks in America lately, and is really getting on my nerves. :mad2:

To follow up. Leemar never helped me with this issue. They stuck with the MH did it excuse. They where willing to send someone out at my expense. However, being stubborn I would be damned to give them anymore of "my money".
I found someone local who replaced the two braces and fortified it further. There have been no more issues .

Was it Charlie?

Crazy! When I suggested we call I had actually already done that on your behalf. They laughed when I told them someone had given you the metal halide excuse saying that was definitely not the problem. What nutjobs these guys are. I also told them to get on here and offer help to save face. They had never heard of RC. Probably still haven't checked it out. Glad you got some local help and have the tank going in full swing again

No Leemar for me!!!

Man sorry to hear about your tank and I hope you get things worked out soon.

Don't worry Rev. :)

They don't sell tanks outside of CA, NV, AZ, and west TX.

Can you post pics of the repair?

I'd like to see how you fortified the bracing.

Sounds like Leemar is trying to cut costs by using the minimum bracing. If a few tanks out of 1000 fail they may justify it because of the money they saved on reduced bracing on all those other tanks.

I'm curious to see how many of their tanks fail over the next 5 years...

I'm considering a new tank, and Leemar is now on my list of people not to buy from!
