Fairy Wrasse ID please

This was sold to me as a Rosy Fin (Cirrhilabrus bathyphilus)

I think it is indeed one, but the price makes it hard to believe. I paid just $88 for it.

Looks like whats being called C. bathyphilus to me. If I remember correctly, Tanaka said there is work being done that would show C. bathyphilus in its current state actually consists of a couple distinct species. Im not sure of the status on all that though. Beautiful fish.

Hmm, well, it wasnt from an article, he was commenting on a thread on RC a while back on the same subject (I believe it involved one of the other 'color morphs' of the species, rather than the particular one in the photo here).

Yeah, thats the trade name I see most frequently.

I bought a pair of those when they first came on Divers den.
Since then my female has turned male, and its kept its beautiful colors so far.

That is my hooded on the right and the togan flame lower left. My other tongan male isn't in the picture.

They must be closely related because all three of them tend to hang together.
