ah yes. yours looks similar doesn't it? i just compared it to a pink margin. looks similar but def not the same. :) lol silly fish and their varieties!

i would say yes. They are extremely passive and very shy. i wouldn't hesitate to put them together. I have never had any assessors act aggressively towards any other fish. that and they stay pretty small.

Thanks ever so much. I have never had experience with them but the literature says the care somewhat cryptic and say in underhangs.

they are strange fish indeed. they will sit upside down. pretty funny to watch. I would go with the yellow ones though. The blues are very shy and the yellows come out more and with swim around (they actually swim upside down as well) and are better looking IMO. :)

Steve,

although Assessor and Cirrhilabrus would not meet in the wild I also keep 4 Assessor with 13 Cirrhilabrus and it works fine.

You asked about the agression level. There I think you have to see all answers in regards to the tanks size. I have 3 harmen groups with sometime more then one male in 330 G and can not report anyx trouble. All species are spawning regularly.

I have two tanks, one of which is the same size as yours. No true aggression in either but the Scott's Wrasses are somewhat belligerent at times. I was considering adding a Lubbock's male and just wanted to make sure. Thanks, Peter.

here's two pics of my newest additions i had them identified on another post

coreno16, we have a LFS here, Deep Reef Aquatics which specializes in fairy/flasher wrasses (and butterflies) and they often get females as well as males. Deep Reef Aquatics and Dr. Foster and Smith, Liveaquaria, are my two primary sources of fairy and flasher wrasses. Unfortunately, I cannot take pictures as I have two large tanks and these fish are very active.
