For those of you who are interested... I've started the database...

I have the first page of this massive thread done (except for 1 wrasse at the end of it)...

I will continue, but wanted thoughts on interface/flow...

I will be adding a search criteria and was wondering if it should be a single page, or multiple pages

well here is the link (not accessablie other than here):

it is either a c.cyanopleura or a female c. solorensis...i have trouble telling the two apart

Thanks guys for helping with the ID. I thought it may be a c.cyanopleura too but I am not sure. I have a male solarensis and I have never seen a female solarensis before, so if it is, it may be great as well! Anyway, here is another shot of it without flash.

i believe you are right! i found a few pics that look like these guys under C. punctatus :) Weird how the ones i got listed under Punctatus didn't look anything like this. lol

wrasseguy2,

It is C. rubripinnis, one of the more red fairies.

zemuron,

It is C. punctatus, one of the highly variable species in coloration.

H.Tanaka thank you for the i.d. This one is alot bigger than the last one i had that was a female. This is the 4th time i had got this fairy...this one has mad e it past the last 3...i have had really bad luck with this fish...don't know if it was the way they were caught or what but mics do not show its colors the was it is to see him in person...its dorsal fin is like blood red....and its body........body is more yellow than orange..i know they don't have the most color but some how this kind has kinda grown on me... i will post a pic soon
