I have a 60 gal and already have a 6 line wrasse in there now and I am trying to get info on a orange back fairy wrasse. Are these two compatible with each other in the same tank? Would be nice to get but I want to be sure for both fish.
Is it because six-lines are so cheap that people buy them so often? Why not start with a flasher wrasse? Just asking for my own pursuit of knowledge, not trying to get on OP's case about buying one.
I really like my 6 line so until he goes then I need to find another fish. I have 2 clowns, 2 damsels as well. So I really want 1 or 2 more fish. Would like something colorful and most of all compatible. Back to researching. My lfs does not have best interests at times when it comes to fish and compatibility.
Six-lines are really cool fish with tons of personality. They just happen to be bullies to more passive fish, especially fairy and flasher wrasses. They preclude addition of many fish. There are many fish I covet more than a six-line.
