False Perc/RBTA Behavior

So I've had my pair of false percs for nearly a year (i think) at this point. It took the female all of 8 months to find 1 of the 3 rbtas in my tank, yet the male still does not go near them.

I never see any aggressive behavior between the two. The clowns sleep together but in the opposite end of the tank from the anemones, but during daylight, the female is in the anemones all day while the male hangs out under a shelf on my monti cap.

I've seen no signs of the clowns spawning, they just sleep in the same spot.

Is this normal behavior? It just seems odd that they pair up at night, but don't associate much during the day.
