False Percula

I'm sure you have answered this question many times, but this is the first for me. I have a pair of False Perculas. I would like to get an Anemone for them but according to the Anemone FAQ they only host the most difficult for which I'm not ready for. I have heard of them hosting in Corals and such. I was told that they would host in a BTA. This would be better choice for me being new, but do you think the Perculas would go to it?

Thanks in advance.

How long has the tank been set up for? BTA are easier to care for in a mature system and percs are known to host in them it's not their natural host, sometimes it takes a short time for them to host sometimes longer. but that or getting a hammer or frogspawn, mushrooms percula's host alot of different things.

Your tank is not ready for an anemone. Your tank should be at least 6 months old. Give it time. As far as the percs hosting a BTA, there is no guarantee with any clown. I have one that hosts a BTA and one that doesn't.

also, keep in mind that bta's need very good light, if the lighting on your tank isn't up to par, it won't make it, and will likely poison the tank when it dies

I have Xenia, Mushrooms, and Green Star Polyps with no interest. I have a Saddleback CarpetAnemone that someone gave me three weeks ago and has been eating and looking great. But they won't go near that also.

Also all parameters are good. PH 8.3, Amm-0, Nitrite-0, Nitrate <10, CA-420, Temp-79 to 80. I have 20x flow rate.
