Fan Controller

I had a couple quick questions about the fan controller, does the fan control go between the powersupply and the fans? Can I use it to control other fans as long as they are 12v and do not exceed the current rating?

the fan control plugs into the L ports and the power supply plugs into the fan controller

We do not recommend connecting other fans to this as we can not guarrantee their operation.

Yes

To clarify.

Connecting third party equipment to the profiLux will invalidate the warranty IF it creates a fault.

Ok, I can understand that. the only thing is I need to be able to cool a hood and the way my setup is I cannot use the Breeze, as an example the Propeller Breeze 5 fan unit should draw way more current than one 120mm 12v fan. I guess the thing is that sometimes the way our systems are setup, off the self stuff does not work.

Hiya

We have no issues you modifiying it to help your needs :) just be careful, as long as you know the risks in regards to warranty etc then the rest is up to you.

Hope that helps
;)

Right, I know fan controller controls the voltage passed to the fan, and it get the power from the power supply provide with the propeller breeze. The L port just adjusts how much goes through.
