FAOIS RO/DI Unit

Okay finally took some pics of my new RO/DI unit from FAOIS. Using a COM-100 temp compensated TDS meter, I register 330 tds from my tap water in S. Tampa. I'm getting a reading of 0.4 tds in the finished water, likely from salt contamination in my collection bucket from my last water makeup. Very nice unit and man will this make my life easier. Here's the pics:

What's the gallons per day rating and how much $$$, if you don't mind me asking. I need to buy one. I'm getting near ready for water.

My water pressure is registering slightly over 50 also, but in that pic I had just finished flushing the membrane so it was at zero still.

That looks like a sweet setup, did you purchase the COM-100 with the unit or did you already have that? Does your contain have a float valve attached? I can't tell you how many times mine has over filled  . I'll get to it one of these days, I have learned to set an alarm - sometimes.

I actually got the COM-100 from my gf for christmas. I'm sure she probably ordered it from spectapure because that was the link I gave her explaining it what it was.... I actually only run the unit when I need water, and just let it fill the container until I switch it off when I have enough. I haven't hooked it up for drinking water yet so I will probably add a ASOV and do it all at the same time.

well billy it's about time. words from experience , get a shut off valve and float. you will forget like everyone else that has ever used one. you will flood. if someone hasn't done it yet they will it's only a matter of time. I left mine run for about 18 hours past the needed time. what a mess that made.

I need to do the float valve thing! I forget all the time. I fill my 7gal containers outside so its not a huge deal, but it's just more water going through the unit that isn't needed.

I have the same unit and love it. I fill 5 gallon buckets on my back porch and have flooded a few times - it only took a few times and now I never forget;)

Hey Globalpimp - love your tank. I just took a tour on your photo page, I really like the mixture of livestock. What's the yellow guy called, he looks something like a blenny or goby?
