Farmer's mkt carpool...?

Hello everyone...

Great meeting a few of you last week at Joe's. I think there was some talk about maybe getting a carpool together for the farmer's market. I am planning on going. Leaving from Milford. Should have room for three people and if my wife gives me her car then I could take 5-6...

I'll already be up there, as I will be going up early to set up the ARKSC table and the tank Matt and myself are going to be selling from. I'll be doing double duty, selling and answering questions about ARKSC.

My son us coming home from school Friday so we'll see y'all up there. I suppose we should hang out for the raffles?

I was going to go up late morning, maybe around 11ish?

What time is it over? Is it best to get there earlier before best stuff is picked over?

If you really want to get a jump on the "best" stuff... you're only recourse is to get there right as the doors open (or be in there with the vendors when they set up). There are probably good deals still to be had later on but the really choice stuff is gone in the first 30 minutes or so, in my experience. Many times is the vendors themselves that are buying up the hot sellers and marking things up for sale in their own tanks. I won't name names but there are smart folks out there that take full advantage of the free market. Can't blame someone for making a living!

If you're looking for anything specific, you should do a search for the vendors and see if they're selling things ahead of time. That way you're just there to pick the goods up.

The event ends at 5pm and I think the raffle starts around 3:30 or 4.
