FarmerTy 215-gal No Water Change SPS Tank

How does the magma and flame get along? I have a magma in my tank right now only because my LFS called me telling me he got some nice wrasse in (put a huge dent in my wallet). My plan was to always have a flame wrasse pair in my tank.

They are fine. The flame was a little defensive at first in QT but they got along fine after a day or two. Now in the display, they sometimes swim together and other times they'll do their own things but freely tolerate each other.

I wouldn't bother with a pair, the live in harems in the wild. So the pairing is unnatural to them and eventually the female will go male and you'll have a war between the two male flame wrasses.

Here's Evolved's chart on fairy wrasse groups and compatibility.

Update on my Mari colony. Darkened up as expected but starting to see hints of colors.

Nice shot of the regal. Colonies still need to regain color from the lighting switch.

Looks nice1

Wow I just noticed you have your lights so high above the tank, did you always have them this high?
Thanks Cody. Its refreshing not to see so much framing and drywall. Still have more to go.

No, the lights were moved up while working on the tank and I didn't lower them back down yet before taking the picture. [emoji4]

Box O' happiness! Colorado Sunbursts! [emoji7]

If you could spot the CC Inferno out of the rest, good eye!

Its easier to spot under actinics.

I actually already do... As well as my acro sales. I Wanna keep Uncle Sam off my back! [emoji41]

I wish I could keep the bubble tip with bubbles...I tried feeding, increasing light, changing flow levels. No dice.

It begins! I'm starting to finish out the bar and cabinet doors as planned.

Haven't had a chance to read all but I notice the return are deep in the tank.
A power outage might siphon water to that point.
Happen to me and I had the siphon valve that a sponge made into its home.

Great looking out! I drilled two holes on each return in hopes that both won't get clogged at the same time.

I was actually contemplating switching to two 1" penductors as I feel like the 4 nozzles might be a bit unsightly once I finally get my blue background on the tank. Maybe I'll place them a bit higher in the tank to minimize the siphon effect in case my siphon break holes get clogged somehow... As this hobby as shown us, where there's a snail, there's a way.
