I started lowering the salinity of my 26g long with a baby sailfin and blue tang. Prior to this week they have been in the tank for a week and they are eating and functioning as normal but with ich spots once in a while.

I started lowering the salinity on Tuesday and right now (wed) it is at 1.016 from 1.025.

The fish are eating eagerly and are pecking at the rocks and nori. However, their breathing is fast and they seem more figity and run and hide into the rocks when I approach to watch or feed, they were not doing this prior.
