Fast way to cycle - spin up a hospital tank

My mixed reef crashed (equipment malfunction) - but the fish are doing okay.

I can move the Fish to a temp tank for a few days, but want to get them into a more stable environment for ~4-6mths, whill I rebuild the reef.

I've a JBJ 30 gal sitting empty that I use for quarantine that will work. It's just empty at this time. Thus like to spin up this JBJ as quick as I can.

I see some of the new fishless cycle products out there. Any suggestions or recommendations? for a quick spin up? In the past I'd just use a few small drops of ammonia

Use the water from your running tank and some live rock.

Water from your display tank and a sponge filter or something with bio on it. No rock as you’ll be adding meds maybe. Then your good to go.

Using a bacteria supplement certainly won't hurt but I'd do what Journyman said, just use the rock and water from your current systems if the fish are fine like you say.
