My caliendrum is explosive, but until recently my histrix was a slow grower. Besides the birdsnests, a bright green/yellow milli has become a monster. My pearlberry is the center of my Vortech's attention and loving it. Great growth.

Should we start a sister thread to see what the slower growers are for the same posters??
I'll say my red/green hyacinthus isn't doing much, but it's wrapped by some corals and without the best flow right now.

My doc fosters and smith Birdsnest coral Seriatopora hystrix was a 2 inch frag 4 years ago.
It is now 38 inches around and about 10 inches high.

I find ora green birdsnest and bird of paradise birds nest grow pretty fast, but the faster they grow, the more fragile they are. like I barely brush my hand on a branch and a whole big chunk will break off.

one would think many of the pieces mentioned as fast growers should sell really cheap or be given away, but somehow, they are not.

Green millies, birdsnest, digis, and a blue staghorn all grew well for me, it really depends where they were in the tank though.
