I have 3 fathead anthias in QT almost done with TT. it looks like one of them got burned really bad in a few spots towards it's tail. is there anything I can do about it? it's charred up in like 3 spots. it could be something else but I'm not sure what. I'll try to get a picture when I come home later.

I noticed it didn't eat this morning when I dropped mysis in too..idk if that means anything

How is his swimming and breathing? You may have to treat with antibiotics if you done see signs of improvement.

it's not breathing heavy, and when it swims it seems to be normal. it's wedged behind the filter right now, which is kind of normal, they like to hide most of the time. I did put some kanaplex in the water yesterday just as a precaution along with the metro. my only real concern is the not eating, they were all eating like pigs, now this one is not eating at all. I guess all I can do is put some antibiotics in and hope for the best.

I have to wonder if something is/was wrong with him in the first place. IME a healthy fish does not get burned. There's not much (other than what you've already done) you can do other than observe for symptoms of a disease.

I did the second to last TT today. I came back from the gym and it was dead. I guess it couldn't handle the transfer. they have been in metro for a week and I started kanaplex now just to make sure it's not bacterial. the other 2 are eating like crazy so hopefully they make it.
