Fathead Anthias, in hiding?

Hello,
I just finished QT'ing my final fish addition for my 75 gal tank, a Fathead anthias, so I figured I would add it yesterday, it was eating well and had fattened up very well. So I add it and of course there was a little bullying (chasing) done by the current largest fish in the tank, a coral beauty angel, but the anthias quickly found a little cave and the angel pretty much forgot about it. Fast forward to today, the little anthias is nowhere to be seen. I used a flashlight and I couldn't see anything, and I also checked the overflow and sump, nothing in there either. So is it normal for these fish to hide for a few days after introduction?

IME these fish are very shy for a while when introduced into your display. I had one I kept for ~ three years, he was housed with a bandit angel. Took him about six months to regularly cruise the tank.

Finally, he's come out!!! I was almost certain he was dead!

He still seems somewhat reclusive and the angel is still bothering him but the aggression appears to be fading, I also saw him eat a few frozen brine and sample a few hikari mysis. So, hopefully he will start coming out more as time goes on.

^that's good news, and seems to be exactly how mine behaved. Now mine swims in the open water all day with the wrasses. Also one of my favorite fish!

Congrates , for your fish can you let me know how much and where did you get it ? im looking to stock some anthias at this stage

Well here's a pic of him today, sorry for the crappy quality my phone takes bad pics.
