Fauna Marin Ultra-Algae X

Has anyone tried Fauna Marin Ultra-Algae X? I am thinking about it but it's rather expensive at around $65.

Algaefix did not do a thing... I do not have a lot of hair algae. They are in a few spots and I cannot reach them. They have grown quite long so snails and tangs do not touch it.

Man it took care of my algae fast, did about 9 doses and then stopped, my corals did suffer a little color loss, but that is it, i am very happy with the results, did you try algaefix marine? or regular algaefix

Marine. I was running a carbon reactor during the treatment, maybe that made it less effective...

i was running carbon, rowaphos, skimmer, denitrifier all at the same time as i was dosing algaefix, i have a 90 with a 30 gal sump, come to a total of 120 gal minus rock, coral, sand, equipment, etc, it came out to roughly 90 gal of water so i did a capfull or 10ml of algaefix marine every 3 days, by the 5th dose i scrubbed a little to lossen it up and it literaly dissapear by the 9th dose, all i can say is maybe try it one more time and give it time to work, or maybe the algae is not hair algae but bryopsis

Not bryopsis. I might try again... I heard that Fauna Marin Ultra-Algae X is supposed to work great even for bryopsis.

I tried Algae Fix Marine and it did nothing to kill my hair algae. I think I dosed it for too long as I lost most of my snails and about half my SPS corals.
